What the service includes:
 
1. Divorce
 
Drafting of the divorce application
Liaising with the Respondent or their lawyer
Submitting the application to the Court
Dealing with the acknowledgement of service form
Preparation of the application for Conditional Order of Divorce
Preparation and submission of the application for Decree Nisi
Preparation and submission of the application for Final Order of Divorce
 
 
2. Clean Break Order
 
Preparation/Drafting of the Clean Break Order
Preparation of the D81 form as applicant (your spouse will complete their part as respondent)
Lodging of the Order at the Court
Advising you on the process.
 
 
If your spouse defends the divorce, we will not be able to deal with the defended proceedings under this fixed fee. Rebecca will provide you with the next steps and costs appropriate if this occurs. It is very uncommon for this to happen.
 
 
 
If personal service is required, the cost of a process server will be in addition to the above fee. A third party sever would be instructed to serve your estranged spouse. Again, this is not a common occurrence but can happen if a spouse refuses to engage in the proceedings.
 
 
 
The Clean Break Order is applicable for parties who simply require dismissal of matrimonial claims and are in agreement to this. It does not include negotiations with your spouse/ex-spouse and is not applicable if you require a Consent Order dealing with property disposal, pension division or maintenance for example. If you require a more detailed Order or assistance with negotiations, please liaise with Rebecca to discuss your options.
 
Fees quoted are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of any disbursements such as the Court fee or process server fee if required.
