Uncontested Sole or Joint Divorce as the Applicant (exclusive of Court fees - inclusive of VAT)
 
What the service includes:
 
Drafting of the divorce application
Liaising with the Respondent or their lawyer
Applying to the Court
Dealing with the acknowledgement of service form
Preparation of the application for a Conditional Order of Divorce
Preparation and submission of the application for Decree Nisi
Preparation and submission of the application for Final Order of Divorce
 
If your spouse defends the divorce, we cannot handle the defended proceedings under this fixed fee. Rebecca will provide you with the appropriate next steps and costs if this occurs. It is very uncommon for this to happen.
 
If personal service is required, the cost of a process server will be in addition to the above fee. A third party sever would be instructed to serve your estranged spouse. Again, this is not a common occurrence but can happen if a spouse refuses to engage in the proceedings.
 
Fees quoted are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of any disbursements such as the Court fee or process server fee if required.
